Highland Pet Hospital, a privately owned small animal hospital, serving the Bloomington-Normal community for over 60 years, is seeking a full-time, part-time, or relief veterinarian to join our team.  Our small animal hospital partners with the Animal Emergency Clinic which allows for emergency critical care opportunities as well.  Current diagnostics include digital radiography, in-house Idexx laboratory, ultrasound, and Ezyvet software system.  

Compensation Information:

• Full-time DVM Salary Range: $90,000 to $250,000.

• Compensation is based on the chosen schedule, with potential for additional revenue-based income.

• ER shifts, which include nights, weekends, and holidays, offer higher compensation.

• Weekday shifts have a lower pay rate.

Animal Emergency Clinic of McLean County (AEC):

Dedicated exclusively to after-hours emergency and intensive care, AEC’s mission is to deliver high-quality, accessible medical, surgical, and intensive care to the Central Illinois pet community efficiently and compassionately. Our after-hours services include in-house Idexx diagnostics, point-of-care blood tests, radiology, ultrasound, oxygen and fluid management, and emergency surgery.

Both entities come together to provide 24/7 patient care within a wide radius of Bloomington/Normal, IL.
