| COME GROW WITH US!! We have two available veterinary positions in our rapidly growing, small town, under-served area. -Bring all your critters and outdoor toys!!! Kingman sits in a valley, surrounded by public lands and mountains whose peaks soar to 8,500 feet high!!! Our location, moderate climate, nearby lakes, desert, and mountains provide endless, year round outdoor recreation opportunities. Kingman's historic downtown district has undergone considerable renovations and hosts cultural activities and a bustling nightlife. Reasonable home prices and super low tax rates, makes for a very affordable cost of living. -Office appointments are a minimum of 30 minutes, allowing for thorough exams, in-depth client consultation, case collaboration with colleagues, and mentor-ship. - 90% K9/feline, 9% equine and 1% miscellaneous barnyard mammals. -Excellent client and staff communications skills. Small animal skills are paramount, however Livestock and Equine interests (though not mandatory), would certainly be helpful and welcome to our practice. -We have an experienced staff. You will find it well equipped with a surgical laser, DR radiology, complete in-house Idexx laboratory equipment, Impromed operating system, fiber-optic endoscope, diagnostic ultrasound, etc... -Full time schedule is 4 days/week. Part time schedule can be negotiated . A reasonable After Hours “On Call” schedule is shared on a rotational basis with 4 other hospitals, to enhance a quality work- life balance. Call schedule is one weekend every 2nd month, and one week night every 2nd week. -This is the perfect job for veterinarians looking to “partially retire” and work part time, or ambitious associates ready to take on the world. General small animal surgery, medicine, dentistry and experience needed as the practice is 90% feline and canine. Equine experience would be helpful, ( but not mandatory) as 9% of the practice is equine. Passionate horse interests could make up 30% of that particular associate's caseload. Sense of humor, excellent client and staff communication skills. |
Additional Salary Information: Commission based compensation. 14 days Paid Days Off, Quarterly bonuses, CE allowance, Arizona and and DEA license reimbursement. 24% commission of regular office hours appointments. 50% commission of after-hours/emergency services!!
